The mad queen had stepped down the dais, as if she were impatient, and it was evident. She wanted her Kiyomi close. Not because she was scared of what would happen, but because that woman was hers and she just wanted to kiss her and never let go.


The queen's stoic face was still on, even though her friends could read through and see the excitement in the eyes that everyone saw as empty, but eyes that the Tetsuyas knew spoke of so much self-control.


And they were thankful for that, truly, because it would be awkward as fuck to have to separate the queen from her Erasthai and remind her that Kiyomi was not leaving and she needed to not act like an animal.
