Taliesin Compton focused on the chessboard for a long time, then tossed the piece back into the bowl with a bitter smile: "Father, I lost."

Ivor Compton's expression grew colder as he tossed his piece into the bowl, and said blandly, "You need to rein in this disposition."
Taliesin Compton's face tightened a bit: "James Family brought shame upon me, I just want to erase this stain."
Ivor Compton frowned slightly: "One must consider things thoroughly, not rashly. He is favored by the Hall Master, a promising young talent. You had the James Family act against him, but did you consider what might happen if the plan failed?"
