As soon as Carson Flores stepped into the passage, he felt a blur before his eyes and his heart skipped a beat, thinking he had stepped onto a dead end.
After the dizziness in the blink of an eye, Carson's vision cleared, and he found himself standing on the ground, with no attacks around him, in utter silence.
What's going on?
Carson instinctively reached out to touch himself, confirming that he seemed to be okay.
He turned his head and immediately showed a look of astonishment.
Behind him was a rather short stone passage, with the end visible at a glance. At the end of the passage, Brodie Fleming was watching him gravely.
Carson was startled and quickly waved at Brodie Fleming: "Elder, I'm fine, I chose correctly, this is the way out. Come quickly!"
Contrary to Carson's expectations, Brodie Fleming seemed not to hear him at all, still staring straight at him with furrowed brows, looking troubled.
