The wings behind him suddenly bent forward, as though drawn by an invisible gravity toward the katana hovering before him. The first pair of wings dissolved, breaking apart into countless particles of pure Creation and Destruction.
They flowed into the blade like streams returning to an ancient ocean.
The katana trembled violently as the two primordial forces were pulled into it.
Reality itself seemed to hold its breath.
Then...

When the two forces met within the blade, a shockwave burst outward.
