Yo, did you miss me? Yes, I'm back! Well, I expected to be gone for a while, but plans don't always change. Anyway, I'm coming back with this story, but the chapters took a while to come out because I have four stories now... and I plan to add more in the future.
Look on the bright side, one chapter a week is better than none, isn't it?
Enjoy reading, rejoice and....
See you all on next time

.
The atmosphere inside the church was heavy.
Someone's senses could get confused and think it was physical, a feeling of shortness of breath, as if the oxygen had become denser, making breathing and even the simple movement of a finger difficult.
But that was just an illusion.
An illusion caused by the mere presence of that man.
The man called Basara Shinra.
Who, for all intents and purposes, should not have been there.
And the man in question, after calmly introducing himself, calmly put his hand into the pocket of his overcoat and pulled out a small black cube the size of his palm, all of its sides covered in red jewels.
He then lightly pressed one of the jewels embedded in the cube.
Whoo...
And that immediately caused a pulse of dark purple energy to burst out in all directions, rapidly spreading around.
Micael and the others raised their eyes.
That strange wave of energy quickly passed through them, and looking through the door, Micael could see a dark purple barrier with symbols and unknown runes identical to the ones that had trapped them minutes earlier.
"With that taken care of, you may continue." Basara said calmly as he returned the strange-looking cube back into his pocket.
"What are you doing!? Hurry up and help me!" Raynare shouted from her fallen position on the floor.
With the tense and heavy atmosphere stretching silently, Basara calmly looked at the woman on the ground.
"You still don't get it?" He asked, his deep voice reverberating through the church.
"What!?" Raynare exclaimed.
"Your usefulness is over, you failed your objective, just accept your death in silence and die with a minimum of dignity." Although he kept a stoic tone, the cold sensation carried by his words was very clear.
She looked at him in shock before breaking down again. "You've got to be kidding me! Go fuck yourself, you damn human! No! No! I can't die like this! Not this way!" She screamed, thrashing and desperately but uselessly trying to free herself from the sword that pinned her down, with Kiba also keeping her in place with his foot on her back.
"What are you waiting for?"
Micael stared with a furrowed brow at the man who was acting with complete calm in that situation.
"Kill her." Basara said, his stoic voice reverberating once more.
"No! Don't do it please! I'll do anything!" Raynare began to panic, her desperate gaze then turning to Issei, who was standing tensely.
"Issei! Please! I'm your girlfriend Yuuma-chan, remember? Y-you won't let them kill me, right?" Her voice suddenly became younger, her features following the change and returning to a face familiar to Issei.
Seeing that, Issei frowned and clenched his fists, the memory of what had happened and what he had lived through, or at least believed he had lived through with that woman, coming to his mind.
But quickly the feeling of betrayal also came along with the phantom pain of the attack he had suffered to the stomach. "You're not my girlfriend anymore." His furrowed gaze and clenched teeth met the woman lying on the ground.
"No! Please! You-you can't kill me!" The fallen angel woman exclaimed, sinking further into panic.
In the end, her desperate gaze turned to the one responsible for all of it. "Micael please don't kill me! I'll do whatever you want! You can use my body however you like! I'll become your slave but please don't kill me!" She screamed, already completely desperate.
Micael, who until then had still been staring at Basara, shifted his gaze to her.
His blood-red eyes looked at her calmly before focusing back on the man. "Kiba, kill her."
"No! N-!" Her expression shattered along with her desperate scream, but she didn't have time to scream for long as her vision quickly went black.
A hot and cold sensation ran across the top of her skull, her consciousness soon fading and her body losing strength as she collapsed limply to the ground.
Pulling his sword back smoothly, which he had quickly driven through the top of Raynare's head, Kiba rose from his crouched position, turning toward Basara with a serious look on his face.
All of them then stared at him, and he returned the gaze without changing his expression.
"With that settled, I suppose we can begin our interaction." The man said before taking a silent step forward, calmly approaching them without showing any hurry.
But Micael, Rias and the others didn't wait for him to get closer and immediately launched into an attack.
Micael quickly executed a Soru, arriving in front of the man in an instant, his right fist covered with a purple aura and yellow sparks.
Kiba approached from the side, his blurred form with his sword raised rapidly closing in on the man.
Koneko approached from the other side with her small fist raised.
From the air, Rias and Akeno charged long-range attacks, the former's hand filling with energy and the latter's hands crackling with arcs of electricity.
Lastly, Issei was right behind Micael, his left fist with the gauntlet preparing to create a combo with him.
Then, all the attacks hit.
Thud!Crack!
Sounds of explosions, crackling lightning and air being cut rang out along with a sonic blast that quickly pushed the surrounding objects away, the very ground beneath the man splitting and sinking with cracks under the weight of the attack.
However, all of them were met with an absurd sight.
It was the complete lack of effectiveness of their attacks.
Being the one directly in front of him, Micael stared at the man with a furrowed brow, his fist pressed against the bridge of his nose.
The man's black eyes stared back at him, his face not having moved even a centimeter, something Micael clearly saw.
Then, silently and almost deliberately slowly, the man lightly raised his hand and before any of them could react, they were all abruptly hurled backward.
CrackBoom
Their bodies slammed heavily into the church wall, the sound of the collision reverberating through the place.
"Cough." Micael looked around with a hand on his chest, he felt a dull pain that seemed to spread through his torso, and he saw that the others appeared to be in similar situations.
"Shit, what the hell was that!?" Issei exclaimed beside him, shakily getting up from the ground with a pale face.
"...I couldn't keep up with his movement." On the other side of Micael, Rias and Akeno slowly slid down to the ground with a hand on their stomachs, since they were in the air they ended up hitting the upper part of the wall just above the door.
Micael turned his gaze back to the man, he knew that had been an attack, for a short and brief instant he saw Basara's figure blur, indicating that he had moved.
But it was so fast it almost looked like a mirage, even with the one-tomoe Sharingan Micael was completely unable to follow the man's speed.
"Listen, I'll make something clear here, my business is exclusively with him, you and your servants don't need to get involved in this, Rias Gremory." Basara said, focusing his eyes on Rias.
She snorted coldly. "You think saying that will make us let you do whatever you want? Keep dreaming."
Following her words, the others got up from the ground, preparing to attack again.
"That's what I thought." Basara replied without changing his expression. "Then, if that's the case, I'll just have to incapacitate you."
Once again, before any of them could react or even see, Basara disappeared from his position without a sound or any indication of his movement.
What followed was the sound of impacts and air being cut, brief groans of pain along with more church walls being destroyed.
ThuumCrack
This time, their bodies were thrown outside as the walls shattered at high speed, colliding heavily with the barrier.
Micael, who barely hit the barrier, didn't even have time to process the pain before another strong blow struck his back, sending him flying back into the church.
His body slid across the floor for a moment before he quickly reacted, spinning and stopping his momentum.
Crouched, he raised his gaze and saw Basara at the church entrance, standing sideways and calmly looking at him.
In the background was the sight of Rias and Akeno shakily getting up from the ground while leaning against the barrier.
"If you don't want them to have their bones broken, fight me alone." Basara's voice reached him from the church entrance.
Furrowing his brow even more, Micael looked at Asia, who still remained frozen in the same place, the man had completely ignored her.
But Micael was not fooled by that, it definitely wasn't out of pity or mercy, he had probably ignored her because she was too weak to pose any threat.
In fact, none of them were a threat, given how easily he was hitting them.
"So?" Basara asked calmly.
Knowing he had no choice, especially because he didn't want the weakest person present to be horribly injured and add yet another trauma to the girl, he agreed. "Fine."
Micael stood up, wiping the blood that was leaking from the corner of his mouth. "None of you get involved in this, I'll handle it alone!" He exclaimed loudly, his voice echoing through the church and reaching outside.
"What are you talking about, Micael!? No one here is going to obey that!" Rias shouted back, her eyebrows furrowed.
"This is not the time for that, Rias! Do what I said!" He shouted back.
"You expect me to stand still while you get beaten to death!?" She yelled this time, pain mixed with her anger.
"I won't die, relax." Although he didn't like using this card, Micael had to resort to emotional blackmail, because among everyone there, he was the one with the best chance of surviving. "I have a plan." His calm voice reverberated through the church to them.
Clenching her fists and biting her lip, Rias' teeth clenched as her cold gaze stared at the man's back before turning to Micael at the back of the church.
Although extremely irritated and reluctantly, she ended up agreeing. "...Alright." Her voice came out low, almost a whisper.
Giving her a nod, Micael then turned his gaze back to Basara. "What are you waiting for? You can come." He said as he calmly entered a combat stance.
Without saying anything, the man began walking toward him, seeing that his proposal had been accepted, however, when he reached the space between the pews, Asia's small form stopped in front of him.
"Y-y-you can't hurt Micael!" The girl shouted bravely, even though she was trembling and clearly looked scared.
"Fuck, Asia, get out of there!" Micael shouted urgently, quickly moving toward the man.
The man looked at her silently, staring at the front-facing and brave stance of that small girl who dared to stand in his way.
But instead of coldness, a tiny hint of respect appeared in his black eyes as he said to the frightened girl. "Fine spirit." Before she was abruptly thrown aside, her body colliding with the wall.
The man spared her no further glance, focusing entirely on Micael, who had already appeared in front of him.
With a gaze full of killing intent and his fist surrounded by purple aura and yellow sparks, already centimeters away from hitting Basara's face.
Booom!
Another resounding impact rang out, another shockwave spread, and just like before, neither Basara's body nor his face moved, he remained completely still.
Micael then abruptly doubled over as Basara's fist seemed to teleport into his stomach, his mouth opening as he spat saliva.
But he recovered in the next instant, clenching his teeth and kicking the man straight in the balls with his foot covered in purple and yellow.
"Such a dirty trick." Basara commented calmly as the foot struck his private parts, but just like before, he showed no reaction at all, remaining unfazed.
Micael only had time to slightly retract his foot, trying to move on to the next attack before an abrupt pressure struck his face, followed by him being hurled away, his vision around him passing and spinning rapidly and erratically even with his Sharingan.
His body hit the back of the church, cracking the wall as fissures quickly spread across its surface.
Getting up quickly, the visible wounds healed with the yellow aura that covered his body along with sparks.
He soon disappeared again, resuming the attack, his foot flattening the ground as he launched himself forward with tremendous force.
His fist rose, heading once more for Basara's face, but knowing that just Shaori and Ripple were useless, Micael added two more, deactivating the enhancement of Removal, Demon Back and even the Sharingan, leaving only Advance.
It was a risky move, but he clearly had no other option.
Then, at the last second, when his fist was about to strike the man's cheek, Micael activated two different abilities.
His fist was covered by an even larger, radiant orange aura, while black sparks flickered just in front of his fist, Black Flash and Jan Ken Guu being used together.
Booom!Craaaaaack!
The sound of a massive explosion rang out as if dynamite with several kilos of TNT had detonated, the ground sank even further as debris flew in all directions.
Kiba, being the closest, protected Asia from the resulting explosion that made the entire church tremble.
The whole place shook, showing signs that it was about to collapse.
And that was exactly what happened, the support pillars could no longer withstand the pressure as they began to crumble.
The ceiling soon started falling toward the two at the center, while Kiba, Asia and Koneko rushed out of the church amid the collapsing roof.
And in the midst of it, Micael stared with a furrowed brow at the man who, at that moment, had only slightly tilted his face as a result of the attack.
That was the only result of a punch reinforced by Ripple, Shaori, Jan Ken Guu and Black Flash.
A vague and minuscule tilt of the man's face, nothing more.
