The pendulum swung back and forth for another year–The livings of the Peaceful Realm were holding up their defences very well, but the strain on the laws Fallael had written was starting to be felt dearly. Everywhere outside the borders of the life barrier, undeads roamed en masse, more numerous and stronger than ever. The restrictions had eroded away to the brink of snapping.
It was to the point where breaches were happening nearly on a daily basis, citizens were growing weary of having to stay hidden nearly constantly–They were alive, but they weren't living their lives as they should be.
