Chapter 3 - Chapter 3:

---

The next day, Yuna accompanied her grandfather at the small bakery shop.

Of course, she shut herself in at the back door where baking was done because, as an otaku, she had some social phobia, and also because socializing drained her energy.

Anyway, she had a hearty and chatty grandfather who could handle dealing with customers.

In the afternoon, however, her grandfather wanted to set more traps and make use of Yuna's availability to go to the forest to cut more wood and hunt a few prey. Yuna had no choice but to greet and deal with the customers.

Although having social phobia, as an adult who had to deal with society—even if she dreaded it—in her previous life, she could still put on a calm façade and deal with customers.

"Little Yu is helping out Grandpa Orion to watch the shop today?"

'As you can see.'

Even if she sarcastically thought so, Yuna still squeezed out a polite smile at the auntie who came to buy bread and said, "Yeah, Grandpa wants to cut some more wood and store some firewood for the rainy season that is drawing near."

"I see… what a good child, helping out your grandfather."

"Hehe…" Yuna put on a shy smile, although she inwardly urged her to leave quickly.

Why are aunties always so chatty?

After the aunt left, the bell on the door rang once again.

'Sigh… why so many customers?'

Yuna looked at the new customer who entered and almost forgot to greet him.

"Hello, Austin."

It was the male protagonist, the main character of .

"Hello… Y-Yuna."

'Ah… he's trying his best to recall my name.'

Yuna didn't actually blame him. He was, after all, an overachiever who focused solely on training. At least he took the time to remember his classmate's face and… name?

If he was famous for his excellence and hardworking attitude, then Yuna was famous for her laziness and fulfilling only the bare minimum at school.

Of course, Yuna didn't mind being called lazy behind her back because she really was. What's wrong with being lazy? It's not like she harmed anyone or ate their food.

"What would you like to buy?"

Austin looked around and pointed at a somewhat cheap bread. Although cheap, Yuna still made sure to bake it soft and fluffy and even taught her grandfather a new way of baking. The reason her grandfather's shop suddenly became popular was because it was not expensive but still good and tasty.

Yuna packed the bread while receiving copper coins from the protagonist.

"Wait a minute…"

Yuna ran hurriedly to the back door and came out with a box-shaped package.

"It's a new type of cake I recently came up with. Try it at home. Classmate benefits."

Yuna smiled.

'Eat some more and fatten yourself up, main character. So damn skinny!'

Yuna silently encouraged.

Austin kept quiet for a moment and looked at the box that contained an appetizing smell. The scent gave off a familiar aroma and reminded him of his previous world.

"…Is it chocolate-flavored?"

"Chocolate? What's that?" Yuna gave a puzzled expression and played ignorant. "There is a new type of bean that has been imported into town. It's called… ermm… cocoa beans? It was really bitter, and I even questioned whether it could be eaten. I experimented with it since I quite liked the smell, and it turned out to be quite good."

Yuna gave a satisfied smile, giving her best performance in acting. She could even stay composed and maintain a straight face when reading yaoi smut scenes in public. There was no way she wouldn't be able to maintain her composure in front of the protagonist.

"Is that so…"

Austin felt a little lost listening to the explanation.

Many things reminded him that he had come to another world and was no longer in his original world, making him feel somewhat lost and helpless. Still, he had to move on and do his best to live and survive, just as he did in his previous life when monsters suddenly ran rampant.

He also had a family he could care for now…

Looking at the fleetingly lost expression on the boy's somewhat mature face, Yuna sighed slightly in her heart.

Even she herself still felt lost and was trying to adapt and find her footing in the new world.

After careful consideration, Yuna felt even more reluctant to acknowledge a fellow transmigrator whose life choices were vastly different from hers.

He—the road to becoming strong and standing at the pinnacle of strength.

She—to just go with the flow and live life at her own leisurely pace.

Not to mention that they were not even from the same Earth.

On her Earth, there was no such thing as dungeon breaks… yet? The future was uncertain, so Yuna did not want to make a firm statement. Who knew—dungeon breaks might also occur in her original world in the near future as well, but she was no longer there to witness it.

Anyway, Yuna labeled her Earth as #1 Earth and Choi Min's Earth as #2 Earth.

Not that she thought her Earth was superior; it was only right to give her own Earth the #1 position, you know.

"I'm going to make some beverages with those cocoa beans. I'll let you be the first to try it for free."

Yuna said this to lighten the mood.

"Mm." Austin nodded before giving his thanks for the cake and leaving the bakery and toy shop.

Yuna looked at Austin's retreating back before withdrawing her gaze.

As for telling the male protagonist about his future events—well, if God gave her the memory to recall them, she would tell him.

Yuna always wondered how those transmigrators could recall events and plot points so specifically. Those protagonist halos were truly superb.

Anyway, instead of worrying about others, she had to worry about herself and how to settle into her new world first.

She was an ordinary person, not like those male leads and female leads who could think and plan ten steps ahead. Give her a break, man.
