After this rather embarrassing moment in the carriage, I went back to my room with Lise. The sun was about to set, and I was feeling a bit tired. I had experienced a lot of emotions today, and I needed some rest.

I thought that maybe Lise could help me. She was a demon too, and she had been with Zephara for a long time. She knew a lot about her, and her magic, and her world. S
"I have a question to ask you, Lise," I said, yawning. I was lying on my bed, and Lise was sitting on a chair next to me. She looked at me with curiosity, and nodded.
"Yes, tell me," she said, smiling.
"Zephara was a bit strange today, do you have an explanation since you're a demon too?" I asked, hoping that she would enlighten me. I saw Lise's face change a little, before she started scratching her head. She looked nervous, and hesitant.
