The Elder laughed at Karl's analysis of the situation.
"Well, at least one of them is taking this seriously."
For a moment, he seriously considered telling her that he wasn't joking about the cat considering her daughter as his pet. But decided that it would be better if the situation sorted itself out naturally.
Shade had a space to store his Elf in now, so it was nearly as good as being the one in charge of the situation.
"Well, if that's all settled, then I should be getting back to my apartment. There are people waiting for me to finish with my morning routine and join them for breakfast."
The Elder nodded. "I take it that you have a proficient Mystic Cook among your team members, as you call the beasts? I don't see you headed to the dining hall often."
"I do. It's simply more efficient to eat at home most of the time. We only really come out when there is something that we want to do, or a major event about to start that we should find a group for in advance."
