That was the moment that three other groups staggered out of the dungeon.
"Fuck, that isn't possible. Halfway through the third boss, the difficulty changed, and that bastard thing started to regenerate. This dungeon is bullshit. Who fucked up the difficulty setting?" An irate young Rogue demanded.
"We have no idea. Where did you make it to?" The berserker asked.
"We entered in the second batch, so we were on the third boss when it changed."
The leader of one of the other groups who had just escaped shook his head. "We were on the fourth boss, the Oathbreaker.
The dungeon difficulty changed, and we took a full party wipe. We didn't even get the healer out safely. He had a lifesaving token that respawned him at the entrance, and he resurrected the rest of us."
The Immortals nodded. That was common enough. Most Immortals would look for something to save their lives in a situation like that.
