Downstairs, Duan Xin was still standing at the door, not coming in, just watching the wolf lying under the flower bed, looking like he wanted to approach yet dared not to.
It wasn't until he heard footsteps behind him that he jogged over in front of Duan Xi, asking in disbelief, "Duan Xi, is that really a wolf outside?"
Duan Xi was quite unhappy with his sudden visit which woke Ruan Jiaojiao up; he looked displeased. But Duan Xin didn't notice, still making a fuss and finding it hard to believe that the Ruan Family could raise a wolf that was like a pig.
He wanted to go take a look but was afraid, so he took two steps forward and then retreated, asking Duan Xi, "Xiaoxi, can you control that wolf?"
Duan Xi still ignored him, and only then did Duan Xin belatedly realize that his expression was not very good. He hesitantly asked, "What's wrong with you? Who made you angry?"
Then he greeted Ruan Jiaojiao, "Jiaojiao, what's wrong with your brother Xi?"
