An Jing thought that the creek wasn't very deep, and Su Yi Jing had nothing to do. Since Su Yi Jing wanted to show his filial piety by catching fish and making soup for her, An Jing didn't stop him and let Su Yi Jing go to the creek with a sharpened wooden stick after breakfast.
Once he arrived at the creek, Su Yi Jing took off his shoes and then stepped into the water.
He waited for a while, seeing no fish nearby, so he walked upstream a bit.
Finally, he managed to stab a fairly large crucian carp.
After placing the crucian carp on the shore, Su Yi Jing continued to catch fish, moving upstream some more.
When another fish swam to his feet, Su Yi Jing quickly and accurately plunged the stick down, catching another fish.
