Unlike when he was in the Burial Furnace, in this world, Lu Chen is actually not attentive to technology.
Initially, he didn't plan to develop technology, but after the arrival of the Eternal Night, the entire Border Wilderness was plunged into darkness. People were living in such oppressive conditions that even if they didn't starve, they lived in great pain.
Thus, Lu Chen had Dazhou establish an Academy of Sciences and provided a series of industrial technologies.
This world did not have an industrial base, so even though Lu Chen provided industrial technology, development was not fast.
Dazhou gathered national efforts, which gradually lit up the Capital City.
Regardless, it brought a glimmer of hope to the human inhabitants of the Border Wilderness.
As the power grid expanded, more and more places were able to use electric lights.
