Before coming to the Border Wilderness, the Tao Family had already sent many powerful individuals to the Border Wilderness to gather information about the area.
According to their findings, humans are protected by the Deceit Saint, which is why the Border Wilderness has not encountered a large-scale Deceit Tide.
However, Tao Jin doesn't think so. In his view, "those who are not of our race are sure to have divergent hearts."
What's more, the other side is mysterious, treating humans as blood food.
As for why that Deceit Saint didn't gather the Deceit Tide to head toward Central State during Eternal Night, Tao Jin speculates that the Deceit Saint was seriously injured during the great battle when the Deceit Saint invaded the Border Wilderness.
