Valentine Teller was playing with Nian Nian when Mark Reed suddenly asked, "What do you want to eat?"
"Tomato and egg noodles." Valentine blurted out.
Mark looked at her, stunned.
Because he also wanted to eat tomato and egg noodles.
He didn't even know why, just that he wanted to eat it.
"I'll make it." Mark suddenly stood up and walked towards the kitchen.
It felt awkward for him as a man to cook, so Valentine asked Nian Nian to play by herself, and she chased after him to the kitchen.
"You go play with Nian Nian; I'll make the tomato and egg noodles."
She tugged at Mark's sleeve, feeling both unfamiliar and familiar at the same time.
Mark slowly turned back, looking at her, saying nothing, but a feeling of mutual understanding overflowed from his heart.
"Valentine..."
He couldn't help softly calling her name.
"Hmm?" Valentine looked at him in a dazed and confused manner, her heart pounding.
She never felt this way with Turstin Muller.
