If it was a male assistant, Claudia Ross wouldn't have asked, but it just had to be a female assistant, and a beautiful one at that, so Claudia Ross couldn't help but get involved.
As they were going to bed, Claudia Ross seemingly casually asked, "You hired a new assistant?"
"Yeah, the one you saw this morning. What do you think?" Wyatt Perry assumed Claudia Ross would praise him; since he couldn't find a suitable male assistant, he hired a very unattractive female one to reassure her.
But Claudia Ross didn't think the woman was unattractive. Although she wore old-fashioned black-framed glasses, Claudia could tell that the new assistant's features were quite pretty, and with a little effort, she'd be very beautiful.
