"Lately, there have been some things happening in the shadows of the city, Miss Juliet. I'd like to talk about that," Matthew replied.
"Things happening?" Juliet frowned. She had noticed several strange things in her mansion, but she wasn't aware of everything.
"White Edge isn't peaceful these days, Miss Juliet. I'm afraid it's about to fall into a war against dangerous underground organizations."
"What? Really?" Her eyes widened, the gleam in them peculiar.
"That's why I asked you to come tonight. It seems you didn't come alone, which, to me, is a joy." Matthew laughed.
Juliet looked behind her and sighed. "You can't even hide from him, Father." Juliet laughed.
"Some people are better than they appear at first glance." Richard laughed as he emerged from the nearby shadows.
"So Miss Juliet's surprise was just an act, not bad."
