Meanwhile, Eduardo was in his palatial home in northern Quezon City watching some TV while eating some pizza when a few vehicles of the NBI came to the scene to arrest. He was only alerted when knocking, banging-leveled noises came to his front door.
"NBI!" shouted one of the agents. "Mr. Chanchal, you're under arrest for conspiracy to commit murder, bribery, obstruction of justice, neglect of duty, and tampering evidence, as well as money laundering!"
"Lumabas ka, Mr. Eduardo!" another shouted while waiting outside of a window from Eduardo's kitchen.
Alerted that he was being arrested, Eduardo forsook his pizza indulgence and got up, before running upstairs to his room to hide from them. But the NBI team broke in through the front door after managing to break it open. Eduardo then closed the door of his room and tried to escape via his window, which leads to the roof of his terrace. But he was caught by some of the NBI agents who managed to climb on the terrace roof through a ladder.
As he was being pinned on the metal roof, Eduardo proclaimed his innocence, but some of the NBI agents who were arresting him and surrounding him wouldn't buy it.
"Meron po kaming arrest warrant sa iyo…" one of them sternly looked at him.
A bit later, as he was being led by them, Eduardo was in despair, thinking how the NBI managed to find out and uncover his schemes. And then, some of the NBI agents contacted Croix about their success of arresting Eduardo. Meanwhile, back in the LRT Depot, Croix, who had been waiting for Eduardo's arrest, received it and said, "Okay…"
But then, he suddenly has an idea of getting rid of not just Eduardo, but also his corrupt police officer accomplices.
So, while the 7 corrupt officers begged to be released, Croix asked for permission from Mario and his fellow superiors in the NBI. At this point, these people had also uncovered a handful of crimes that 7 corrupt cops had in the past. These ranged from bribery to illegal detention of innocent civilians for money. This means that they are very corrupt. In addition, a few transactions from a casino in Manila and a sabungan (cockfighting arena) had revealed that they used some of the money from Eduardo's schemes to gamble for more money. However, whoever who did all of these ended up owing 50,000 pesos to that casino and 25,000 pesos to that sabungan. Two of the corrupt officers had owed these debts.
While being shocked at these fresh-new revelations, Mario received Croix's request and said, "What?"
"Pwede naming patayin sina Eduardo at kanyang mga kasabwat?" Croix asked.
The reason why is that he thinks that, even though they would sentence them to life in prison with no bail, they are still a threat to society.
Because of that, Mario and his coworkers began to think about and consider his request with a lot of ethical considerations. But then, Mario decided to say this to Simon through an email. He did so with all of the documents containing the crimes Eduardo and his circle of corrupt officers had committed.
With that, Mario said to Croix through a walkie-talkie, "Okay, Croix wait lang. Pinadala ko ng isang liham sa presidente."
Receiving that, Croix responded, "Yes, po."
He then said to Hoshi and the others. "Guys, just wait for the response from the president if he would allow this."
"Allow what?" Bokuto asked.
"To now get rid of Eduardo and his men."
Bokuto and the others were taken aback, while the 7 corrupt officers were shocked that they will die in their hands.
"Hoy! Huwag mong gawin ito sa amin!" begged one of the suspects.
"Meron po kaming mga pamilya!" another added in despair and begging for mercy.
But Hoshi and his group were unsure on what to do on them, and Croix told the suspects to shut up.
This shuts the suspects' mouths while they were cowering in fear for their lives.
Eduardo was on the way with the NBI putting him into his place of being arrested.
And then, after a couple of minutes of waiting for a response, they got their response in the form of a presidential email to the NBI. Mario received it and printed it out, before reading what it said. It says that they should get rid of Eduardo and his accomplices because they are dangerous to society and that he gave his permission to do so with his approval.
Because of that, Mario eventually obliged and said to Croix, "Okay, Croix, you had your permission na tapusin sina Eduardo and kanyang mga kasabwat."
And so, Croix received it and nodded. "Yes, po." He then looked at his team and Hoshi and his group. "Guys, we can finish off these people po." Hoshi and his group were stunned that it was granted, from the president himself, while the seven suspects were shocked that they will, indeed, die there.
Eduardo's life will end in a few hours…
