Third person POV
Hearing that, Kuro and his group turned around, only to see a hooded figure in black, holding a long metal rod that was used to rip out the hearts of his victims.
"Oh, flip…" Kuro responded while holding his scythe.
"Stay back, monster…" Sha said to that figure.
"Did you do all these?" Taro aimed his pistol at him.
The killer didn't speak at all, but some of the spirits of his victims appeared and confirmed that it was him.
The figure wasn't able to see his ghostly victims, but he can see that Kuro and his group were against him.
So, the monster lunged at them. Sha used his shadow magic to dodge him, while Kuro and the others jumped out of the way and attacked back. The figure seemed to be skillful, but not enough to overpower them. Taro fires his pistol to try to immobilize him, but it was mostly successful every time. Bokuto used his Aero Attack Art to hit him, and he did so, but it wasn't enough. While fighting and trying to immobilize the suspect, Sha said to Croix through his mono headset, "Mr. Croix! It's the suspect! It's the suspect!"
Croix, who and his NBI team had been waiting somewhere near the depot, then got his message and replied, "Got it, we'll be there ASAP."
He then passed Sha's message to Mario and the other NBI subordinates and officers under him, who then confirmed it and gave him the green light.
Meanwhile, it was now Kuro's turn, but he gets shot (but these shots are so, so weak) by a bunch of corrupt police officers, who entered in and started making false accusations to them to keep the charade of their coverup up. But Kuro and his group ignored them, and Kuro and Sha told them to shut up and surrender to them.
Now these corrupt bozos who called themselves police officers got pissed by them, and one of them fired his pistol at Hoshi's glasses out of anger.
As a result, the left lens of Hoshi's glasses broke, and Kuro was so, so pissed by it that he used his scythe weapon to slice the barrel of the officer's pistol.
It did so, much to the shock and terror of that corrupt police officer.
That bozo was eventually restrained by Sha's shadow magic, alongside the other corrupt police officers.
Kuro was still so angry at that bozo of an officer for breaking Hoshi's precious 200-Peso glasses.
Sha then said to Kuro and the others, "Guys! The NBI are on their way now!"
But then, while he and his team are on their way to the LRT depot, Croix had an idea to teach Eduardo and his accomplices a lesson for their immense corruption that cost the lives of 79 people and asked for permission to do that from Mario. Mario, who had been searching and confirming the money transactions of Eduardo and his bunch of corrupt officers in 3 different domestic banks and 1 international bank, received his request and said yes, thinking how it would be good for every innocent person out there.
And so, Croix said to Sha, "Mr. Sakiyama, give these corrupt bastards hell by getting rid of that killer. Say to Kuro, "Finish him off"."
Upon receiving that, Sha, who had just confiscated the equipment of the 7 corrupt cops, was stunned and asked, "Are you sure about that, Mr. Croix?"
Croix then nodded. "Yes, we had the permission to do that."
Sha then agreed and said, "Okay, Croix-san."
