Olivia watched Alex for a while.
At first she worried.
Had he fallen into a hunger state?
Was his life force low?
After a bit more observation, she realized he was only venting.
Alex's cheeks turned red.
"You heard it?" he asked.
In his mind, he shouted at Vesa. "Vesa, from now on, warn me even if it is someone I know."
This kind of thing had already happened a few times.
Vesa would warn him when danger came.
But if it was someone Alex trusted and there was no sign of malice, Vesa stayed quiet.
Olivia chuckled.
She did not answer. Instead, she lay down on the ground beside him.
Her head rested next to his as they both looked up at the sky.
"No need to be shy, Alex," she said. "It is good if you feel frustrated.
That means you understand your fault."
Alex let out a long breath.
"I understand, big sis. Thanks for reminding me."
"No problem. That is what family is for.
It is not like I am perfect and free of fault, Alex."
Olivia fell silent.
