Chapter 693 - Chapter 693. Eyes Around. Vorathen's Change.

"Have you been monitoring the movements of the Covenant and the Nexus?"

"Yes, Lord. We noticed a slight shift in one zone near the edge of their frontiers."

"Oh? What happened?"

"Nothing too important. But you told us to keep all the details in check, so we just lightly recorded them. From the looks of it, there is a new True World Tree that appeared in these coordinates."

"Let me check… Oh? ? Unclaimed… Interesting. Send a merchant ship and get some information on this new True World tree. Perhaps in half a millennium or so, she could become the force that tips the balance. Of course, that's if the Covenant protects her enough and the Nexus doesn't eliminate her before that."

"Yes, lord."

"What about the others? Did they notice her?"

"Yes, Lord. They also intend to send some probing merchant ships. I reckon that this True World Tree will start receiving a small influx of people in five to ten years. I just wonder how she will react."

"Are you fearful that she might destroy the ships? She should not be that violent. The Covenant should've informed her about some basic knowledge… Even if she does, do not worry much. Just make sure those going about their priorities. Right, once there, try to keep tabs on what other powers have sent their spies."

"Understood."

Back in the Ceperet Solar System, Liu Shu observed the sky with interest. The dark clouds and heavy rain had finally lowered the temperature enough, and Liu Shu felt that it was time.

The sky she was observing was not Nualis's, nor Ceperet's; it was actually Vorathen's.

This world that Liu Shu had started working on for over 30 years finally looked ready for colonization.

The ground was still barren, and the seas, rivers, and mountains were still taking shape. The terrain was mostly inhospitable. However! The temperature, atmosphere, and quality of the soil had transformed greatly after her asteroid bombardment calmed down.

"Most of the asteroids landed quite far away from the and other that I used in this world. Those seeds have grown perfectly, and now, they have created enough hospitable land to live in.

Once people can move in through portals, there will be people willing to explore this place. Even a barren world might contain secret treasures from past living organisms. I, on my part, have tried not to take anything and leave the discovery for my people."

If she put her head into it, Liu Shu was sure that she might be able to sweep Vorathen's terrain in just a month and leave nothing hidden. 'But if I do that, how can my population grow and adapt?'

She could feel that there was nothing too important buried in Vorathen that could help her. Therefore, she didn't care about it.

Her sight changed, returning to Ceperet's Teleportation Hub in Golden Sap City. "Mom, how are you doing?"

This Hub was constructed near Tree, allowing her to stretch her roots here easily and get in touch with the portals Liu Shu opened previously. After years of work, Tree managed to take control of most portals and allowed Liu Shu to pass down control to her.

Even when the portals were using Liu Shu's and roots as channels, our World Tree had enough confidence in her mother to relinquish almost total control.

Hearing her daughter's voice, Tree spared a bit of her focus to speak with Liu Shu. It was not that easy to control that many portals. "I am doing more than fine, love."

Liu Shu smiled happily. "That's great! I have a few new portals I want to connect, so I will create them now."

Tree paused and asked carefully. "How many?"

Liu Shu glanced at Vorathen, counted the few cities she had created, and answered. "Six portals!"

Tree sighed in relief. She was a bit fearful that she wouldn't be able to hold many more. However, if they were six, Tree felt confident. "Alright, connect them, love."

Liu Shu spread her energy, covering the millions of kilometers between words, and then stretched space by pulling on both sides. Space-time distorted, Liu Shu's boundless energy reserves maintaining the transformation.

Then, Liu Shu used her prearranged roots and opened the space-channel through them.

Inside the Teleportation Hub, people suddenly felt the very reality tremble, giving them a fright.

"What's happening?"

"Earthquake!?"

"Impossible. Lady Heavenly Willow is probably strong enough to stop them."

At that moment, those on the second floor saw stairs appearing leading to the third floor. When the stairs appeared, the rumbling of the world around them also calmed down, quickly returning to normalcy.

The Teleportation Hub was made out of a . It was divided into ten floors, each quite tall and imposing. However, the topmost seven floors were sealed to the public. The ones open were three.

The bottom floor was in charge of portals within Ceperet and administration procedures.

The first floor was in charge of portals that led between the Moon and Ceperet.

And the second floor, which led to portals that connected Nualis and Ceperet.

So, when people saw the stairs toward the third floor opening, everyone was extremely puzzled. Some people who were not in a hurry quickly climbed the stairs to the third-floor, curious.

Once they arrived, they looked up and saw the plaques on top of each of the six new portals attached to different rooms. ", ,

Each of them had one name, but the first word clearly told their overall location.

"Vorathen?" Someone muttered, confused. "Does anyone know what Vorathen is?"

"Did you drop out of school? Vorathen is one of the seven worlds in our Solar System. We, Ceperet, are the third closest name to the Sun. Vorathen is much closer, and therefore, it is a world of fire… Or at least, that's what it was previously."

Someone quite educated analyzed it. "The Moon was also inhospitable not too long ago. Now, there are cities that can perfectly support life without Ceperet resources. The atmosphere outside of these cities is also becoming much better. While wild Moon life is still out of our hands, it won't take too long for it to appear naturally."

"So, what you are trying to say is that Lady Heavenly Willow has probably done the same in Vorathen?"

"Not probably…" The same man crossed his arms. "It is a certainty. Vorathen has become habitable."

Meanwhile, Tree was speaking with Liu Shu. "You managed to change Vorathen already?"

"Well, it took a while." Liu Shu chuckled. "Thirty years is not long, but it is not a short time. What Vorathen needed the most was to cool down. So, I showered it with icy comets, created thick clouds, and made it rain for years on end. Now, the entire world is largely submerged, but there is still enough land. Moreover, this water will most likely flow underwater, lowering sea levels and creating a proper water cycle in the future."

Liu Shu continued speaking of her theories and expectations, and Tree listened quietly. While she didn't understand many things Liu Shu spoke about, hearing her explain things so enthusiastically made her feel happy and satisfied.

So, while trying to take control of the new six portals, Tree and Liu Shu chatted together.

Liu Shu was not speaking just to Tree.

Flor nodded as well as she listened. "Got it." Having already known about Vorathen, she was not surprised. "Six portals, right? Where do they lead?"

"I initially created the cities out of convenience instead of planning for habitability. So, one is at the true north, another right in the true south, and the last four are spread out along the equator at equal distances."

Flor chuckled. "That's a similar layout to the Moon. I guess you used those positions to spread your roots as fast as possible, right?"

Liu Shu used a root to hug Flor's waist as she giggled. "Yeah! Mommy knows me best!"

Flor smiled and patted the root lovingly. "Alright, love. I got it. Since we knew beforehand, we've already prepared a plan. Give it a look."

Liu Shu stretched her roots and opened them, devouring the prepared stacked papers. Flor didn't stop her, as they were prepared for Liu Shu to swallow.

"Not bad. I have a few suggestions, though."

Flor smiled. "I am all ears, love."

So, Liu Shu and Flor began discussing together about how to proceed with Vorathen using the plans they presented as a foundation.

Liu Shu changed almost nothing, adding a few restrictions according to the strength level needed to comfortably survive in Vorathen.

Other than that, Liu Shu focused on the next very important thing.

"I need to make my not dangerous for my lovers soon!"

She was feeling spiderwebs growing in that needed swift cleaning by the four exalted… pumping experts!

"Let's see… What's the biggest barrier preventing them from visiting?" She glanced around and quickly came to a conclusion. "I am in another dimension."

That was quite a big barrier to overcome. Their very realities were quite literally separated by an insurmountable wall. "So… I need to create a connection. But this connection must be either hidden or restricted."

After all, the passageway would lead into the entrance of her most precious place. Her was, after all, precisely the very uterus of the World Tree's true body.

Liu Shu hummed thoughtfully, her mind spinning with ideas. "First, let me take conscious control of my ."

A day later, when she made sure to speak with everyone that she would need to extract her consciousness for a bit, Liu Shu focused her entire focus into her .

At that moment, Liu Shu's monstrously powerful mind controlled the ternary essence and spread it out throughout her own . Everything came under her control, her senses enveloping even the most remote corners.

"Now… I don't need the entire to be habitable… yet. For now, my and the entrance are enough."

So, she changed the composition of that zone, creating a massive void. When she did so, the inside her lost the ability to breathe.

Liu Shu didn't mind. The was part of her, so she could keep it alive even if she couldn't breathe with it.

Once the void was created, Liu Shu manipulated the entrance of her belly button. This place was one of the two entry points into her . Since the was her womb, the second entrance was… well, the natural pathway.

When Liu Shu coated the film of pure spatial energies around her belly button, she anchored it to the edges. That way, this film would grow together with her body, never breaking.

Finally, Liu Shu pulled energy, air, and even some natural microbial air from different locations, pouring everything into the void she had created.

The gases entered, mixed, and expanded, creating a natural area that would not affect children who grew up inside. Microbial life would even affect the immune systems enough to not make them backlash once they left her .

The entire process took over 4 months of constant focus, but… Liu Shu really wanted to embrace her lovers! So, to calm her horniness, Liu Shu needed to create the subspace inside her for her lovers to live!
