Alya scratched her head, not sensing anything.
"Is it homework?"

Blair shook his head.
"We're still on winter break, we don't have to worry about that."
Everyone started thinking.
One minute became two.
Then Blair suddenly slapped his forehead.

"Did you remember it?"
Matilda asked stopping her snack midway.
Blair look at us, and we look at him.
"We forgot New Year's."

The war had stolen the calendar itself. We didn't even thought of it.
Three days later—
the Mage Tower became louder than anyone had ever heard it.
We had told the elders that we missed to celebrate new year. And since our winter break were crowded with war we decided to celebrate new year to ease the tension we have endured.
