I stopped in my tracks, already expecting where this conversation is about to go. I sighed and turned around to face Altair. I asked with a neutral voice, "And what is your idea of a proper and good enough "thank you"?"
For some reason, as I asked the question, the smirk on Altair's face disappeared and he seemed to have frozen in place. He just stared at me without saying anything and then his face slowly turned red.
For sure, he isn't thinking of something decent right now. I knew that this conversation is going to THAT direction.
It was then my turn to smirk to tease him. Since he was speechless, I just had that need to make him feel even more embarrassed so I asked, "What? You were so brave to ask for more gratitude and now you can't even tell me what you want? With your face like that, you're a total virgin aren't you?!"
