Sensing how taut Beidou's entire body had become, Nolan held her by the waist on both sides, lifting her slightly before letting her drop again—repeating this rhythm over and over.
More than ten minutes passed before Beidou finally reached her limit. Her body slackened completely, collapsing forward against Nolan's chest, her chin resting on his shoulder as she gasped for breath.
"Now do you admit defeat?" he whispered, brushing a kiss against her ear.
"Tch… this was just lack of experience. Next time I'll definitely make you beg for mercy!" Beidou protested weakly.
"I'm looking forward to it."
Nolan helped her sit against the edge of the hot spring to rest for a bit, then turned his gaze toward the ones who had bitten him earlier—Yanfei and Xiangling.
"U-uuh… you awful guy, what are you planning to do?!"
Seeing what he and Beidou had just been doing, the two girls had wanted to flee to the side—only to find their waists held firmly in place by two translucent tendrils, unable to budge.

He asked Asta about Ruan Mei's arrival and learned that she had not yet reached the station. So, he decided to continue raising affection with other girls.
The universe really was too vast. Even with warp engines, one couldn't simply go anywhere instantly. If someone was thousands of light-years away, taking a month or two to reach the station was perfectly normal.
Since the crisis in Fontaine had been greatly delayed, Nolan was in no hurry.
