The car was so silent as it drove through the city. Anna stared out of the window in silence, she was so sure Noah could hear her heartbeat because of how silent the car was.
He had walked in on Damien flaunting his dick before her face. The sight that followed after was not something she wanted to think about. It's a good thing Noah had ordered his men to take her away before it got worse.
She saw him in a different light today. The Noah that always smiled to her everyday looked like a beast in that office.
"Where are we going to sir?" The chauffer asked.
"The airport." Anna turned to look at him but he didn't look at her. His eyes were outside the window as the car rolled down the street. She couldn't ask him why they were leaving, she didn't even have the courage to do so.
It was obvious Noah was mad at her. She hadn't even told him she was visiting Damien today, and now they had an issue again.
