Raven gave a soft hum as he casually waved his hand and summoned a large boulder from the ground, transfiguring it into a large lion that leapt at Rose who raised her new staff forward, in that next moment a barrage of flame spears pierced the lion, but it kept running forward and she was forced to dodge the flaming lions claws.
"It should be dead!" She called out annoyed and he smiled.
"It is dead, but some animals have post mortem responses, lions do not, but you don't know what you will be fighting, so prepare yourself." Raven said as he summoned multiple boulders and transfigured them into 5X rated creatures.
"I hate you!"
"You love me and you know it apprentice~" Raven cheerfully responded as he added magical effects to his creatures. Some breathed fire, some summoned the elements at will and others did as their species did.
Rose responded with letting out a giant burning flame that incinerated three quarters of all the creatures present. Raven summoned them back a moment later.
"RAHGGGHH!!!!"
Raven responded to her rage with a flat rock slamming into her stomach and sending her flying off and then being smacked by a flying stone dragon.
"Don't let your rage distract you." Raven declared as he appeared next to her crouched down, he casually blocked her swinging her staff at his head with a barrier. It clanged and cracked, but did not break.
"Oh ho, impressive swing my apprentice, well done. Now, I want you to focus on your enemies and not me." Raven cheekily said before Rose got hit by the tail of a creature and sent flying.
Her rage fueld screams gave him lots of satisfaction.

"I hate you." Rose groaned out in pain.
"You know you don't ha-" Raven paused as his eyes narrowed and in the next moment he waved his hand sending Rose threw a portal before purple mist started seeping into the area from nowhere.
"Space mixed with something unknown, how curious." Raven smiled as he put his hands behind his back and waited… and waited more…
"Are you gonna come out the fog, or keep acting like weirdo stalkers?" Raven kept a calm smile on his face as he stared at the group before him that had decided to walk out the fog.
Standing before him is a group of teenagers. One was a lanky teen with a spear that made Raven hum in interest, the thing radiated holy aura, so it could only be a Longinus, specifically the True Longinus.
The next was a blonde girl in armor, nothing notable about her besides the small bit of holy aura, most likely a weaker sacred gear.
Next was some muscle roided out brute of a moron, probably only used his fist and asked questions later.
Then there was a child… like a literal fucking child! Raven could sense something extremely powerful inside of him, and he wanted it.
Then standing behind them all was another lanky teen in a coat just kinda chilling, had that magician vibes, and Raven could dig it… he needs to get more guy friends that don't want to adopt him.
"Well then, what do I owe the pleasure of you interrupting my time?" Raven still hadn't lost his smile, if anything it got wider.
"You must be Raven Inanis, Magician of The First. Apprentice of The Queen of The Clocktower. He who is strongest." The lanky spear wielding teen said, and Raven nearly snorted. Talk about dick riding, but damn if the ego boost wasn't great.
"As much as I love my dick getting ridden, I'm afraid children are present, and the only female of your group is too young for my taste." Raven smirked as two of them went red, especially the girl.
"Hey don't make it-" Raven cut the girl off as a potent killing intent was released. Everyone besides the spear wielding teen stumbled a bit.
"Let's make it simple, tell me who you are and what you want. I don't have time for children playing adult." Raven snarked out as he planned out who he would stab first.
"Very well, we are the hero faction. I am CaoCao, descendent of the original CaoCao, great devil king of China. With me are Jeanne D Ark, Heracles, Leonardo and Georg." CaoCao introduced and Raven snorted.
"Hero Faction?" He repeated in an amused tone, any possible respect he could have had for them went down the drain there. Those who seek to calm themselves heroes will never be a hero.
"We seek to prove humanities greatness, that we don't need the supernatural races to be strong. We don't need to live under their oppression! Humanity is the greatest and intend to prove it." CaoCao tried for a passionate speech, but all Raven heard was a child mouthing off about some delusions and wanting to feed their pride.
"You think you few, a group of teens and a literal fucking child, have a chance of defeating the whole supernatural races?" Raven couldn't keep the incredulity from escaping. Were these children serious?
"Yes! We are powerful already, but with you we can much easier accomplish our goal." CaoCao said with a hint of excitement.
"You speak words, but I here no reason to join. Why should I of all people join? What could you offer me?" Raven smiled coldly as he focused his bloodlust on CaoCao who didn't seem fazed too much, which was impressive. It wasn't everything, but a good portion was used.
"Freedom. Freedom to do as you wish. To no longer be bound by those who wish to shackle you for their own greed. Power to escape it all."
"Have you not done your research?" Raven asked deadpan. "I'm literally free to do as I wish, none dares to try and stop me. I'm not bound, never will be. As for power?" Raven cackled in mad delight. Complete and utter joy showed on Raven's face.
"I've never needed power."
"Very well, if you won't join us, then you must be exterminated for humanities sake!" CaoCao said and Rave rolled his eyes as he casually leaned to the side avoiding a spear thrust.
The next moment he raised a hand and casually caught a punch from Heracles, he paused in curiosity as he sensed a unique energy in the teen and forcefully activated it. Though he still kicked the teen away as he soon went up in a explosion.
"Heracles!" Jeanne called out before she turned and stabbed her sword into the ground as a bunch of swords rose from the ground to impale him. He merely raised an eyebrow and kicked the ground shattering them all in an instant.
"Talk about stupid-" Raven blinked as a shield formed in front of him automatically, which only happened when something broke past his senses. He turned and started at Georg.
"Impressive, not the power, but your ability to sneak past my detection." Raven praised before he snapped his fingers as the supposed heroes were forced to dodge a barrage of raw magic laser beams.
"I'll admit, I'm not impressed so far." Raven said before he raised an eyebrow and suddenly turned around to catch flying giant spear aimed to pierce him, however in that moment he saw the glowing energy around the body of Heracles.
"DETENATION! MIGHTY COMET!"
Raven didn't understand the whole yelling thing, they were literally three feet apart… "Oh." He paused in curiosity as the glow transferred to him and suddenly he exploded.
"Did that get him?" Raven nearly snorted as he heard the teen say while taking in a deep breath. Clearly a forced balance breaker was exhausting, though he supposed anyone unlocking balance breaker would be exausted, except for himself of course he alone is-
"Is that copy righted?" He said aloud to himself curiously as he flicked his wrist and several metal spears went flying. His eyes narrowed as he saw the shadow below the child extended out far as large monsters started forming, each with a single glowing red eye.
"Annihilation Maker." Raven licked his lips as he imagined the sheer amount of research he could do with it. It was admittedly like a budget version of his power, but also different. Raven honestly was desiring these sacred gears.
"True Longinus." Raven casually raised his hand as malevolent momentarily formed and batted aside the spear in its own spear form and he roundhouse kicked CaoCao away.
"Annihilation Maker." Raven raised an arm as a shield formed to block the numerous eye lasers of the created monsters, and then the shield glowed brightly before it suddenly shot back the laser beams, but stronger.
"Dimension Lost." Raven ducked down as the created space seemed to bend and crack before Heracles appeared with the telltale of enhancement magic radiating off him. Jeanne was behind him with a glowing white sword.
"I'll take them all off your hands." He grinned as he plunged a hand forward aiming to rip the throat out of Heracles, but in the next moment he had to leap backwards towards Jeanne as CaoCao's spear aimed to pierce through his side, he used a short form teleportation spell to appear behind Jeanne and kick her into Heracles.
"You kids are certainly interesting, but only because of your scared gears, well besides the mage. When this is over, I think I'll make you my second apprentice." Raven decided as he created a giantt spear made of dawn energy. He prepared to throw it, but suddenly a bolt of divine lightning slammed into it and him.
Raven hated divine lightning.
"Oi, are you the one causing these brats such trouble? I'm supposed to be on vacation." Raven paused his retaliation attack as he heard the voice, the sheer relaxation and confidence wasn't from ego, ok maybe a little, but rather assurance from their power.
A man casually stood in the sky sipping a cocktail. He had short brown hair, a pair of sun glasses, beige shoes, yellow swim shorts, a green shirt with some kind of white logo on it and a blue and white Hawaiian shirt. Around his neck and left ankle was some kind of black beads.
However due to Hades and Izanami forcing him, Raven knew all the big shots in the world, and standing before him was-
"Lord Indra!" CaoCao said surprised and shocked. "We had-"
"Shut up little CaoCao. You've had your chance to try and recruit the magician, and now because of your foolishness I have to end my vacation early to keep things on track." Indra said with a frown before he took a sip of his drink and landed on the ground.
"You could just go back to your vacation and let me do as I was doing." Raven said with a fanged grin. Indra snorted in amusement.
"Oh please, as if I'd let someone like you obtain such artifacts." Indra snorted as he summoned a bolt of lightning in his hand and tosssed it forward casually.
Raven raised an eyebrow and caught the spear before tossing it back much bigger in the next moment.
"Impressive, even these brats behind me would have nearly died from such an attack." Indra commented as he flicked the spear of lighting and it broke apart.
"Yeah well, when you get struck by something much bigger you figure out countermeasures." Raven grinned as he flicked his wrist and ripped apart the fake dimension created by dimension lost.
"Shall we?" Raven asked as he opened a portal to a empty flatlands.
"We shall." Indra agreed as he entered the portal after Raven. However before he entered, Indra snapped his finger causing the hero faction to be teleported away.
