Just as Shen's mother said, Shen Mingfeng is in a coma, and he keeps murmuring her name.
In just a short week, he seems to have lost weight, his eyes deeply sunken in their sockets, lips cracked, his entire face pale and bloodless, far from his usual appearance.
Gone is the gentle elegance of the past, and gone is the previous oppressive dominance. At this moment, he lies vulnerable like a child on the bed, his bloodless, dry lips continuously calling, "Yanyan, Yanyan..."
She doesn't know how she should feel right now, only finds her nose twitching before she turns away and wipes her tears.
Shen's mother looks at Jian Yanyan, sighing, "Yanyan, deep down, you still care about Mingfeng, don't you?"
Jian Yanyan doesn't know how to respond, she just silently looks at Shen Mingfeng, then takes a cotton swab, dips it in water, and gently moistens his lips.
