Cheng Hao finished watching the financial news and noticed there was still half a plate of fruit left. So he carried the plate into the bedroom and called softly, "Honey, are you asleep?"
Secretary Jin slowly closed her eyes and pretended to be asleep.
"Are you really not eating the fruit? Weren't you really craving it earlier?" He asked a few more times.
Secretary Jin couldn't pretend any longer and sat up, saying, "Bring it here, I want to eat."
Cheng Hao laughed, showing a set of white teeth, "Go ahead and eat, I knew you'd still want it, so I saved it all for you."
Secretary Jin took the fruit plate and glared at Cheng Hao, saying, "You probably just couldn't finish it yourself."
Cheng Hao chuckled awkwardly, "You caught me."
The two laughed and joked around for a while. Recently, Secretary Jin seemed to have turned into a big eater, able to gobble down whatever was put in front of her. Another large plate of fruit disappeared quickly.
