Liu Banxia worked the entire morning and then, after giving some instructions, headed to the cafeteria for lunch.
There was no room for modesty in the emergency center. If you had time, you rushed to eat when it was mealtime so you could get back to cover a shift.
You never knew when an emergency might come in, and you might not get a chance to eat then.
"Qing Kewa, how did your day go?" Liu Banxia asked after sitting next to her.
"It went well. I assisted in another operation," replied Qing Kewa.
"Made up your mind? Are you going to stay and have some fun, or go straight back to your country?" Liu Banxia asked again.
"I want to have some fun! I want to go find Qiaoqiao. We've already agreed," Qing Kewa replied.
Liu Banxia laughed. Qing Kewa seemed really interested in having some fun. But, there was nothing to worry about. After all, to her, being a doctor was just a hobby. Even after studying medicine and returning home, she might end up doing something else entirely.
