Emma Cooper stayed in the hospital for most of the day and was discharged to go home in the afternoon.
Henry Moreland, worried about her as a patient, took two days off to take care of her. During these two days, Emma discovered that he was surprisingly good at cooking, and looked quite dashing while doing it.
That evening, Emma sat on the living room sofa, looking towards the kitchen. Henry Moreland's tall and upright figure made the narrow kitchen seem even more cramped.
A gentle and sweet smile hung on her lips. Being ill this time, receiving such care from Henry Moreland, she wouldn't mind being sick for a little longer.
"Dinner's ready." Henry Moreland brought two dishes and a soup to the table. The way he looked wearing an apron gave Emma an illusion.
They looked like an ordinary married couple living their lives.
"Eat more." Henry Moreland picked up food for Emma.
