Both sides were at a stalemate for a moment, Aidan Wilson fiercely glared at Melody Sheffield and Samuel Clark before turning away.
The rain was heavier than before. Samuel Clark looked down at Melody Sheffield, "Get in the car."
Melody Sheffield withdrew her gaze and nodded.
Samuel Clark's car drove past Aidan Wilson, who stood in the rain watching the sedan leave, a sinister glint flashing in his eyes.
The rain continued until dusk before stopping. The sky cleared, and was as blue as a washed gem.
Melody Sheffield looked up from her computer, rubbed her stiff neck, and immediately a cup of tea appeared in front of her.
"Thank you." She smiled, lifted the teacup, and took a sip.
Samuel Clark glanced at the time on the computer, "It's late, let me treat you to dinner."
Melody Sheffield also glanced at the bottom right corner of the computer, "Let's eat at home. Yovita hasn't seen me all afternoon and must be missing me."
