"Let go, you're choking me." Mason Carter, with his great strength, was squeezing Sophia Carter so tightly she could barely breathe.
Mason immediately released her, nervously and guiltily asking, "Did I hurt you?"
Sophia shook her head, then turned to see a sales assistant and a few customers excitedly taking pictures with their phones. She pulled Mason away.
Fortunately, the shoppers here were mostly mom-aged women who, even if they were fans, wouldn't act as crazily and recklessly as young girls.
"Put on your mask," Sophia suggested. "Otherwise, you might get recognized again later."
Mason put on a mask, but his eyes remained fixed on Sophia's belly, still with some doubt in his voice as he asked, "Am I really going to be a dad?"
Sophia stopped, turned around, and held his face seriously, answering, "Yes, there's the crystallization of our love in my belly; we're going to be parents."
Mason hugged Sophia again, but much more gently this time, "Thank you, Sophia."
