The door slammed shut behind them.
For several seconds, neither Sebastian nor Aliena moved.
There was no sound.

The darkness surrounding them was so complete that Aliena couldn't even see her own hand.
She could only feel Sebastian's fingers intertwined with hers.

His voice came from directly beside her.
She released a breath she hadn't realized she was holding.
"Can you see anything?"
"No."
"Me neither."
Sebastian squeezed her hand.
"Don't let go."
"I wasn't planning to."
They stood in silence.
Then Aliena heard something.

"Do you hear that?"

"It sounds like water."

"That's not water."
Another drop fell.
This time, they heard it clearly.
