Nilu needed time on his end, so Bai Ruozhu and Jiang Yichun couldn't wander blindly around Gaochang City. Furthermore, the astrologer was waiting for the Supreme Treasure of the Western Regions Royal Family for a cure, so the two quickly returned to the Imperial Palace.
Bai Ruozhu asked someone to find the head Internal Servant of the royal palace, saying he wanted to meet the current steward of the Royal Family.
"Lord Bai, it might be a bit inconvenient these days," the head Internal Servant said with a bow.
"We understand the current situation and are deeply saddened by it, but as envoys, we have important matters to discuss. Do you know who the current heir to the Royal Family is?" Bai Ruozhu said patiently.
"This…" The Internal Servant Official hesitated.
Jiang Yichun gave Bai Ruozhu a glance, then spoke at the right moment, "Could it be that His Majesty didn't leave a will?"
