"Grab her, grab her, don't let her get away!"
Kasper Edith clearly heard it—there was a voice in his heart urging him anxiously.
Seeing Olivia Parker about to slip out of the crowd, Kasper suddenly lunged forward a couple of steps, rushed over, and grabbed her arm.
Olivia's arm slackened, the book tucked in her hand fell to the ground. She turned her face, looking at Kasper behind her.
"Sorry!"
With an apologetic look, the man crouched down, reached out to pick up the book from the ground, patted away dust that wasn't really there, and carefully smoothed out the folded pages inside.
Standing up again, he looked into her eyes and spoke.
"May I ask you to dance?"
Olivia raised an eyebrow.
This guy really was obsessively persistent.
Whistles and shrieks rose around them; without their noticing, several people had already gathered to egg them on.
The man had let go of her hand, yet his palm was still extended toward her, those dark eyes locked onto hers.
