Shirley shouted and tried to run after him.
But Alan just bolted off like crazy, not caring about anything.
With him sprinting like that, there was no way Shirley, in high heels, could catch up.
Watching his figure get farther and farther away, Shirley stayed where she was and slowly crouched down.
She'd finally started living a dreamlike life with Alan, but she never thought it would be shattered so soon.

Andrew stood over there and apologized to Shirley as well.
If it weren't for him, Shirley wouldn't be in so much pain.
Annie stood there, deeply regretting why she'd blurted that out so fast.
Now that this had happened, what on earth were they supposed to do?
She kept feeling like she was breaking up other people's marriages.
Thinking of this, Annie walked up to Shirley.
"I'm sorry, I didn't know you guys were standing here."
