Her words, filled with indignation, were a particular delight to Maxwell Peary.
Listening to her, Maxwell Peary slightly curled his lips.
He pulled her into the elevator. When the elevator doors completely closed, Nia Mitchell pouted and flung his hand away.
"How can you kiss me in front of so many people?"
Nia Mitchell questioned him, much to Maxwell Peary's amusement. Little did Nia Mitchell know.
"What? Can't I kiss my own wife?"
Every time his voice rose with an upward lilt, he managed to ensnare her spirit, leaving her helpless.
