Chapter 787 - 787 My Hero Academia: One Hit: Railgun, Crossing Robot Hell, Second Obstacle The Fall, Third Obstacle Minefield, and God of Thunder.

Robot Hell was composed of two types: small ones—the same that had given them points during the entrance exam—and large ones, the Category Four villains they were supposed to avoid.

David Shield, known as the most famous superhero suit designer, along with his daughter Melissa, had upgraded the latter models to make them more difficult to defeat.

Allen, arriving last among all the students, quickly understood the situation.

Seeing how Todoroki, Deku, and Bakugo were struggling to advance, he decided to take matters into his own hands.

"At this rate, no one will move forward…" Allen smiled faintly before pulling a coin from his pocket. "Alright, you owe me one…"

Allen tossed the coin into the air as if it were a coin flip.

Toru, who had been thinking about overtaking the others using her invisibility, felt the hairs on her skin stand on end.

"Huh?"

Itsuka, who had been observing the robots and preparing to confront one, also noticed the change. Her hair began to rise from the static electricity in the air.

"Allen?"

In an instant, sparks of electricity ran along Allen's arm. An electromagnetic field wrapped around his body.

Allen's smile widened with a mix of confidence and amusement.

As the coin fell in front of him, time seemed to slow for a brief moment. The electromagnetic field around him became so intense that Jiro felt pain in her ears, and Kaminari's Quirk began to spiral out of control.

"A charged particle can accelerate in a magnetic field... Rail… Gun" Allen hit the coin with his middle finger.

The energy shield burst like a bubble, and the metal was pierced like a sheet of paper.

The coin turned into a laser that instantly struck the robot.

Allen lowered his hand, erasing even the last trace of electricity around him. For those who blinked, they didn't even see what had happened.

Allen nodded in satisfaction. "Oh, not bad~"

[Golden Template: Mikoto Misaka "Railgun"

World of Origin: To aru Majutsu/Kagaku

QG 7: (Near Mint) 3 hours]

Since arriving in this world, Allen had defeated many criminals, earning hundreds of pulls in the system's slot machine. However, he mostly accumulated gray templates, which ultimately proved useless because they didn't give him enough time to adapt to the powers he had obtained. That was why golden templates were so important. Still, each golden template was like an oasis in the desert.

"What was that?!"

"Who did it?"

People still couldn't understand how the robot had withstood Todoroki's attack when the first giant robot had been destroyed so easily.

Some realized who had done it—like Itsuka and Toru, who were at the back with Allen, or those who, despite the main action being at the front, had never stopped watching him.

"Was that electricity?" Itsuka gasped.

"A combination of electricity and electromagnetism based on the Lorentz force law…" Allen stopped when he saw both girls looking confused. "It's just a Quirk based on equations… something like that."

"You really like making things complicated," Toru said, shaking her head with a shrug.

"They've defeated it! The first giant robot has fallen!" Present Mic exclaimed, snapping the crowd out of their shock and sending them into cheers once again.

"That's right… " It was impressive," Aizawa added, who was also in the booth with Present Mic.

"What is he doing?! A lion should use all its strength—even against a hare!"

In the stands, Mirko crossed her arms in dissatisfaction. She had expected Allen not to give the rest even the slightest advantage—there was no point in giving others hope. However, the comment turned out to be somewhat ironic and comical considering that she is literally The Rabbit Hero.

Ryuko, who was nearby, heard Mirko's words and snorted. Even though they were friends, there were topics they never agreed on—especially regarding how Allen had been raised.

Nejire laughed at both of them, then turned her attention back to the screen, watching Allen.

"It's pretty rare to see him so expressive…" Nejire puffed out her cheek. "You ignored me so many times, but you're kind to those girls… Hmph, I won't forgive you that easily."

....

"Allen-san…" Deku knew who had destroyed the robot, even if he hadn't seen it happen. Knowing he couldn't give up, he clenched his teeth and shook his head. 'I have no idea what you're thinking, but I have to prove All Might didn't make a mistake choosing me!'

Deku stood up and, activating One For All at twenty percent, ran at high speed, dodging the robots' attacks.

"Oh! Izuku Midoriya from Class 1-A has taken the lead!" Present Mic shouted.

"I won't let you!" Bakugo propelled himself forward, refusing to fall behind, dodging through the air.

"Tsk…" Todoroki felt frustrated, but right now winning was what mattered, so he ran as well.

"As expected, Todoroki and Bakugo immediately followed…" Aizawa commented.

"They're getting away! Who cares who destroyed it—we have to take advantage now that the robot is down!" Kirishima shouted as he started running again.

Tetsutetsu also shouted and ran. Both had similar Quirks, allowing them to take hits from the larger robots and keep moving forward.

"I can't fall behind!"

Momo created a cannon from her abdomen. She aimed and fired. The iron ball struck a robot without damaging it, but she didn't give up and fired several more times until she finally managed to bring one down—though she ended up exhausted. Even so, many heroes were impressed by her strength.

Ibara also moved forward. The girl had lost her gentle expression, her eyes were now dark as she used her vines to bind one of the robots.

"I don't need to defeat it—just keep it from moving!" Ibara ran past the obstacle.

"Damn it, we're falling behind!" Setsuna growled. However, she noticed something interesting—the larger robots that had been attacked were beginning to lose their energy shields.

"Reiko, Yui—let's attack the one on the right and open a path!"

The two girls exchanged looks before nodding. This was a free-for-all competition, but in this situation, they decided to form a temporary truce.

Reiko used her telekinesis to throw rocks at the robot. Yui also tossed a handful of small stones that grew larger just before impact. Setsuna split her body into multiple pieces and used them to attack.

The three girls' projectiles rained down like shrapnel, destroying the shield and finally the robot itself.

Several students exchanged glances before doing the same, forming alliances.

"This is unheard of!" Present Mic exclaimed. "In previous years, students fought each other—but this time they've joined forces against the obstacle!"

Some people loved this development—others didn't.

"Ochako-chan!" Tsuyu shouted as she used her tongue to stop a robot.

"Yes!" Ochako pressed her fingers together and deactivated her Quirk—the same one she had used earlier to lift rocks into the air.

Once the robot was struck, it lost its balance, and both girls passed through.

"Nice work~" Mina said from behind them.

"You!" Normally calm, Ochako got upset that Mina had used them to get ahead.

"Don't be mad, Ochako-chan—I'll give you a photo of Allen as an apology~"

"Huh?!" Ochako blushed.

"Mina-chan, how did you get one?" Tsuyu asked, her eyes wide.

"I just asked him…" Mina blinked in confusion. "You girls should be more honest, or someone else will snatch him first~"

Neither of them responded to that comment, and they kept running.

....

With several robots destroyed, the rest of the students were able to pass more easily by defeating only the smaller ones.

With that, the second obstacle appeared. It was a massive cliff, with rock pillars in the middle connected only by ropes.

"Here comes the second obstacle—if you fall, it's over!" Present Mic shouted. "This obstacle is called The Fall!"

By the time Allen reached the second obstacle, the frontrunners were already crossing.

Deku jumped from pillar to pillar.

Bakugo simply flew across.

Todoroki created an ice bridge.

Momo made herself a harness and slid along.

Ibara used her vines to keep from falling.

Tokoyami used Dark Shadow to hold onto the ropes.

"Sorry, Ochako-chan—I'm going ahead," Froppy said before jumping onto a rope and hanging thanks to her Quirk.

"So unfair!" Mina, lacking a suitable Quirk for this test, had to balance the normal way.

"I won't let something like this stop me!" Iida exclaimed as he slid forward using his Quirk—like having turbines in his calves. As expected, although it worked, the friction made him move very slowly.

"I'll go ahead too!" Itsuka said, glancing at Allen.

"Don't worry."

Itsuka nodded and began to cross. She had no trouble doing so—her martial arts training had made her very skilled at maintaining balance.

Others struggled much more. Many tried and fell, but there was a safety net below, so their lives were never in danger. Even so, many were eliminated at this obstacle, especially those from the management course, who were almost completely wiped out.

"This is my chance to shine!" exclaimed the pink-haired girl standing beside Allen. When he turned to look at her, he realized it was Mei Hatsume.

"Weren't support items forbidden?" Allen asked.

Mei was surprised that Allen spoke to her, but she quickly smiled.

"Just like you said, Handsome-kun! This is our chance to show support companies what we can do!"

Mei winked at Allen before activating her boots, which turned out to be turbine-powered sliders. At the same time, a harpoon shot out from her belt and embedded itself in a pillar.

"See you ahead!"

Mei leapt into the void but didn't fall; supported by both inventions, she crossed without trouble. She repeated the same maneuver at the next pillar, drawing the interest of several support companies.

"Yes!" Mei landed on the other side, raising her hands.

"That was amazing," Allen said.

"Thanks, Handsome-kun… huh?" Mei blinked when she saw Allen already standing beside her.

The audience was just as confused—no one had seen how he crossed. He had simply appeared on the other side.

"Everyone's shocked! How did Allen Walker-kun cross?!" Present Mic shouted at the top of his lungs.

"As expected, he went from the last positions to the middle in an instant…" Aizawa added.

Mirko laughed. "This brat took advantage of the moment when the camera robots and drones weren't pointing at him to cross!"

"He still doesn't want to show too much—perhaps so he won't overshadow everyone too soon," Ryuko sighed.

"Tsk…" Nejire felt dissatisfied that she hadn't seen Allen use his Quirk. She stretched. "He better not lose on purpose, or I'll scold him~"

....

"Toru… you can let go now," Allen said to the girl clinging to his back.

Toru laughed while holding onto him, and once she let go, her clothes became visible, surprising everyone.

"Nice move," Allen praised her.

"Hehe~"

Gwen – Don't lie, you could've avoided it if you wanted…

Rei – He definitely did it just to feel the invisible girl's chest… pervert.

Juvia – Allen-sama can feel Juvia's chest whenever he wants!❤️~

Albedo – Don't listen to them, feel mine—they're bigger!❤️

Rias – Hmph.

Akeno – Ufufu.

Shizuka – Ara ara~

Aphrodite – Ahem!~

McDragon – The power scale is going off the charts!

Rogue – Tsk, it's just fat…

Kara – What nonsense!

Annie – Tsk

Rukia – This is ridiculous.

Allen ignored his Chat. He wasn't going to admit that he had been fully aware of Toru's intentions the entire time—and that he could have avoided it if he wanted to, but didn't.

Noticing what had happened, Present Mic shouted again, firing up the crowd.

"Wow, in a clever move, Toru Hagakure from Class 1-A clung to Allen's back to overcome the obstacle! What an incredible play!"

"Hey, All Might, that's a normal training outfit, right?" asked Higari Maijima, also known as the "Excavation Hero," Power Loader.

Higari was a short man with long, light-colored hair. He also had very small legs, and his hands were larger compared to the rest of his body. Although most of his head was covered by a large helmet, he always seemed to be smiling.

This teacher was in charge of support equipment, and as already mentioned, students from the hero course were not allowed to use support gear.

"That's right, Maijima-sensei. It's just a training outfit," All Might said a bit uncomfortably. He knew Allen had something to do with Hagakure's clothing, but he couldn't say anything—Allen had done it so the girl wouldn't have to run around naked while using her Quirk.

"Damn it, my performance got overshadowed…" Mei knelt down in despair.

"Sorry," Allen smiled faintly. "But, I'm impressed. You made those inventions yourself, right?"

Mei looked up, and her eyes lit up. She stood and grabbed Allen's hand.

"Allen Walker-kun! Please let me design you a suit—no! Even just one part is fine!"

"...Why?"

"Of course! Just like a master swordsman loves crafting weapons for worthy warriors, for us, having our creations used by the best heroes is a matter of pride."

Allen chuckled. "Alright, but I'm very picky, so you'll have to work hard."

"Thank you!~" the girl said with a smile and a faint blush on her cheeks.

"Allen, we have to go!" Toru grabbed Allen's other hand and began pulling him away.

"See you," Allen said as he ran alongside a pouting Toru, which made him laugh.

....

Up front, the leading students had reached the third and final obstacle—a vast open field.

Todoroki had arrived first because Bakugo had started fighting Deku.

"This is…"

"Here is the final obstacle! It's a minefield!" Present Mic shouted. "As you can see, it's easy to spot them, but be careful! They're more like toys, but the sound and impact are exaggerated!"

Todoroki began running while avoiding the mines, but he had to be cautious, which slowed him down.

Several others arrived behind him.

Among them were Momo, Ibara, Kirishima, Tetsutetsu, Iida, and Tokoyami, who had surpassed Deku and Bakugo, followed by many more students like Setsuna, Reiko, Yui, Ochako, Mina, and Tsuyu.

Everyone began crossing, but despite how easy it was to see the mines, the urgency to advance made many step on them. The mines created pink smoke explosions that sent people flying.

Iida tried to rely on his speed, but he wasn't faster than the blasts. Tetsutetsu and Kirishima attempted to cross using their durability, but although the explosions didn't injure them, they still tossed them around.

"Everyone's giving it their all!" Present Mic shouted, then the cameras focused on Deku and Bakugo.

"Die!" Bakugo yelled as he attacked Deku, but Deku dodged easily.

"Kacchan, we need to hurry—there's no time for this!"

Sweat dripped down Bakugo's face. He knew wasting time here would cost him, but he couldn't stand Deku's rapid growth. He felt inferior—and he couldn't tolerate that.

"Deku!"

"Damn it!" With no other choice, Deku clenched his fist. "Smash!"

Both attacks collided in the middle of the field, creating a massive explosion.

Todoroki, who was in the lead, glanced back for a moment. Seeing everyone far behind him, he frowned.

"The tunnel is right there… are you not coming, or are you planning to hand over the victory?!"

Todoroki began to feel irritated. Allen used to play the villain during training and often took on tests alone while everyone else formed teams—yet he rarely lost.

The difference in their abilities was so great that it made Todoroki feel inferior, something he couldn't accept. Over the past two weeks, he had trained until he collapsed more than once—all to defeat Allen.

"You're saying this doesn't even qualify as a challenge worth trying to win?" Todoroki felt humiliated.

It all made sense. Allen didn't need recognition—because sooner or later, he would inevitably stand above everyone else. So letting others win wasn't a big deal to him.

Just as Todoroki was about to enter the tunnel, he shouted at the top of his lungs.

"Don't screw with me!"

At that moment, the sky grew dark with clouds.

"...?" Todoroki stopped.

Everyone's eyes turned to the stormy sky that had appeared out of nowhere.

"Don't be so impatient…"

"...!"

Allen's voice left Todoroki in shock. There he was—standing right in front of him, with the tunnel entrance behind his back.

"What's wrong?" Allen smirked mockingly. "Didn't you want to see me?"

The sound of thunder filled the area as Allen kept smiling with a teasing expression.

"Don't you remember my words? I said I'd be a wall…"

Allen raised his hand to the sky, and lightning struck with a thunderous force. When the light cleared, Allen appeared before Todoroki, electricity coursing across his body and a massive axe resting on his shoulder.

"...!!!"

Todoroki went on guard, feeling his skin bristle and a sense of danger and enormous pressure.

Allen cracked his neck while electric currents wrapped around him.

"You may come, Shoto Todoroki..."
