Amidst the boundless holy fire, the King floated serenely.
His spiritual energy, his presence, blended seamlessly with the endless golden flames, like water merging.
Outside the holy fire stood layer upon layer of Fire Priests and Fire Guardians. The entire Holy Fire Sacrificial Ground was guarded extremely tightly; even Archbishop Horus could not easily approach.
Suddenly, the King opened his eyes and looked towards the distant east.
"Level 16 spiritual power wave, a powerful disturbance in the Sea of Source, a newly ascended strong Monarch has emerged, who is it?"
"Ah, this familiar feeling, isn't it... Rod?"
The King's tone was filled with astonishment.
"But hadn't he just stepped into Level 15 spiritual energy? Just become a half-step Monarch? Could it be that I've actually been fighting in the Spirit Realm for a year? Or ten years?"
