Urek was trailing after the Space Marine squads sent out to travel the void outside of the dimensional gap.
Because of the Horde's recent inactivity, Urek had practically lost his prank targets, which made him a bit sad. He did, after all, lose the very few sources of his personal entertainment.
But he's a big boy. As much as he loved pranks, he knew who could and couldn't be targeted. He limited himself to his enemies, sparing his kind from his antics. And although he feels a little sad that he lost his targets already, he knows that this was just temporary.
Now, he had to babysit a bit.
Gibson entrusted him with looking after some of the space marine squads he's sending out to probe the void outside of Heavenly Star's Dimensional Gap. He wasn't forced to do this, by the way. It's just a polite request from Gibson.
