Dylan Young was waiting downstairs by the teaching building. The sun was quite strong, but he didn't deliberately seek a shady place. To him, this bit of sun was nothing.
From somewhere in the school, the crisp sound of children reading aloud could be heard. Dylan Young listened quietly for a while.
He didn't have to wait long before the school bell rang, and he saw Scarlett Glenn running towards him.
When Scarlett reached him, he bent down and picked her up.
"Let's go, daughter, let's go home for dinner."
Many students around were looking over. Scarlett hugged Dylan Young's neck, and the smile on her face was clear and pure.
On the way home, she asked Dylan Young, "Dad, do you think Jasmine Zahn will come back for class?"
Dylan Young replied, "No."
Scarlett was curious, "Why? Didn't the principal say she could return if she improved?"
