He took a deep breath, having just reined in his emotions when the doorbell to the room rang.
Descending the stairs to open the door, standing outside was Vincent, the special assistant he had met shortly ago.
Arabella Vanderbilt's eyes were still a bit red, and on her fair face, that faint circle of red was unusually apparent.
At first glance at Arabella, Vincent's heart suddenly skipped a beat.
