During the two days Sophie Sullivan was recuperating, Thomas Shannon received a phone call. His expression changed drastically, and he immediately set out to return to his country.
He left some men in black in Country F to continue monitoring Sophie.
...
Returning to Country A, Thomas Shannon hurried to the Presidential Mansion as soon as he left the airport.
At the heavily guarded Presidential Mansion, the sentinel intercepted the black Lincoln convoy at the doorway.
Thomas Shannon lowered the car window, "I want to see Lillian Spencer."
The sentinel looked apologetic, "Sorry, Young Master Shannon, without Miss's order, you cannot enter."
Thomas Shannon sneered coldly, took out his mobile phone, and made a call to the President.
The secretary answered the call, and upon hearing that Thomas Shannon was intercepted at the door, the secretary took charge and ordered the sentinel to let him through.
