"Some are afraid to spend money and won't go to school outside the area, others can't borrow tuition fees and plan to drop out. Anyway, things are complicated, and we have to visit these families every day to understand the situation, work with the parents, and find solutions for them."
Dong Yuezhang sighed and continued, "Also, in recent days, among the senior third grade students attending extra classes, some have already dropped out to work, and it's really frustrating.
You know, if these kids weren't doing well academically, I wouldn't be worried like this.
But according to my talks with the parents and the school teachers, these students' grades are decent.
Not to mention 985, 211 universities, at least they're guaranteed to get into a slightly better second-tier university.
You see, it's such a shame if these kids drop out because of financial reasons."
