"No, it's not what you think. We just had a little disagreement, that's all. Alright, Bobby, it's getting late, you should get ready for bed now. Tomorrow is your first day at school, don't be late," Enna Clark interrupted his guessing, not giving him a chance to ask further, and ushered him off the couch, "Have you brushed your teeth? What about the milk? Did you drink it?"
Bobby coolly tossed his head, "I took a bath and brushed my teeth ages ago, and drank the milk too. I was just waiting for you to come back."
His obsidian-like eyes glanced at Enna Clark sideways, casually jumped off the couch, put on his 'big man' style slippers, and said lazily, "I'm not interested in your business with the Dubious Man next door. If you don't want to talk about it, that's fine. Just make sure you handle it yourself."
He believed his woman could handle it, and if she couldn't, he could always help later.
He wouldn't interfere now.
He didn't know anything, what if he only made things worse?
