The other person said a long string of professional jargon over the phone, but James Black didn't understand a word. After the person finished, James directly asked, "Based on the data you've found, what conclusion have you reached?"
The person on the other end was silent for a few seconds before speaking, "I have reason to suspect that locally, there might be an earthquake soon."
"Can you give a specific time?" James immediately thought of the nightmare Jane Sampson had last night.
"I can't determine it for now; I need to keep observing." The person on the phone sounded more serious, "But looking at the data which is frequently fluctuating, I think it might happen in the next few days."
"Did you tell anyone else about this?" James asked.
