Aldana Candi looked at him for a while, then patted his face: "It's not as warm here as in the lobby, let's go out."
As she and Philip Shaw came out of the house, Ellen Candi also came down from upstairs yawning. She was wearing a black hoodie, her hair was loose, her face looked listless, and she seemed a bit haggard.
Aldana let go of Philip's hand and went forward: "Ellen!"
Ellen paused as if she just saw her, rubbed her eyes: "Aldana, you're here. Have you finished eating? I'm coming down to get something to eat, don't mind me, go accompany Philip."
She waved her hand, wobbling towards the dining room.
Philip leaned on the sofa, scrutinized Ellen's complexion, and asked Aldana: "What's up with her? Why does she look like she had a battle last night?"
With no ill intent, but the listener took it to heart, Aldana glared at Philip fiercely, angrily said: "Don't talk nonsense!"
Seeing Aldana seemed genuinely angry, Philip toned down his teasing, "Sorry, I didn't mean it."
