Aldana, however, became cheerful. She didn't care what was going on with Eric Candi, but the thought of being able to leave here made her extremely delighted.
Philip Shaw propped up his face, scrutinizing Aldana's slightly curved lips. From her expression, he discerned her current joyfulness.
He reached out, pinched her chin, and moved her face closer to his.
"What are you doing?" Aldana's brow furrowed.
"Happy?"
"…" Aldana averted her gaze, "I'll be leaving in three days. I don't want to get into any conflict with you."
Upon hearing her words, Philip Shaw huffed coldly, "I won't let you go, then what will you do?"
"You don't want Ellen Candi anymore?"
"I have my own ways to bring her back."
"What ways do you have? Eric Candi and Ellen are both with Trenton Smith. If you had a way, you wouldn't have agreed to trade me for her."
After the kiss, both were slightly out of breath.
