In the church, Father Jeremy had just finished praying. He sat down on one of the chairs and thought about the recent night where someone had visited him, handing him a vial containing substance that the vampires would hunt him for.
At first, he had been scared to take it, remembering what the human-raven spoke about the last time. It mentioned they will come, and that they could be here already, lurking, watching…even praying in the church with him. It makes him wonder if there was really such evil, watching in the dark and waiting for the time to unveil their acts.
Over the past few weeks, he had moved carefully, spending most of his time in the church and guarding his conversations, until recently when something gave away. As he was busy thinking, the candles suddenly blew out and the doors to the church slammed shut as the curtains fell, announcing a presence.
