Upon hearing Tom Nelson's report, Skye Brown looked at Lily in surprise.
She and Dylan Wellington had just returned to China, their itinerary kept secret, and the Wellington family shouldn't know yet.
Mrs. Johnson, how did she find them?
Now that they are back, they will have to face the Wellington family sooner or later.
Skye asked Tom Nelson to invite Mrs. Johnson in and to notify Dylan Wellington upstairs.
She and Lily happened to be in the living room, ready to handle it first.
Before Mrs. Johnson entered, Lily whispered to Skye, "When you meet Mrs. Johnson later, don't be too polite. Speak as you should... If you're too polite to her, I'm afraid she'll bully you."
"Don't worry, Lily, I know what to do."
As for the Wellington family, Skye was well-prepared.
Proper courtesy and politeness should be maintained, but also with dignity and self-respect; she cannot be seen as an easy target.
